Social media messaging

The African-American Shakespeare Company’s year-end production of CINDERELLA is always a crowd-pleaser. This year, I helped this small community theatre group with the social media promotion of the show over its 11-day run.

Given that the AASC supporter demographics skews older—women over 25 years of age, with a significant percentage of them 35-55 years of age—I focused on Facebook outreach, to solid results: over the previous month’s stats a 20% increase in “likes,” a 20% increase in monthly active users, a 183% increase in fan feedback, and 75% viral activity on opening night.

The posts and a slideshow are below. (And more social media copy coming. Promise.)
